How Uniguard Pro Works
Use your Unifi Sensors as Alarm Sensors
Setup can be done in a couple of minutes without exposing any sensitive data. When the system is armed, you can use your Unifi Protect cameras as alarm sensors. No video data is actually transmitted; only event data is sent to our monitoring agents. Unless on a video monitoring plan, where you can give us access to view specific cameras (coming soon).
01
Create a Uniguard Pro Account
Create a Uniguard Pro account for free. Then, create a site similar to Unifi's site manager.
02
Set up your site
Add the site address, add devices you want to monitor, set up emergency contacts, arming schedules, and your webhook integrations in Unifi's alarm manager.
03
Test your sensors
Now test your Unifi sensors to ensure they're all working as intended and appearing in the Uniguard Pro application.
04
Arm the system
It's time to arm the alarm system. You can do so anytime in the Uniguard application or you can setup arming schedules. If an alarm is triggered your emergency contacts will instantly recieve text messages/calls with the alarm information to verify if an emergency responce is required. Our live monitoring operators are standing by to quickly dispatch police or guard services.
